A4988 motor driver

I'm just using an arduino uno and a single A4988 driver to power my stepper motor, the pins (ms1,ms2 and ms3) are disconnected so the motor is running in full step mode, but I would like to try different resolution like (half, quarter, eight etc) but I cannot find information on how to connect those pins, someone knows how to do that?, this is my board:

Hi,

You image did not take, post it as an attachment will do the trick.

Where did you purchase the board?

Thanks.. Tom.... :)

You can't break it. Just hook the pins up to your logic supply voltage (3.3 or 5 volts.) I use breadboard jumper wires.

Some combinations of the 3 pins are not effective, but it doesn't break the chip if you pick a "wrong" one.

https://www.pololu.com/product/1182 has the details.

maad: but I cannot find information on how to connect those pins

Did you think to try googling "A4988 datasheet" ? That's how to find out about a chip.

Don't tell him about Google! You'll ruin the secret and none of us will appear half as clever anymore.
