Ability for Arduino UNO to send analog singals

Hello,
I was just wondering if I would be able to send analog signals from the UNO to the VEX Microcontroller and have them be detected as analog signals. How would this be programmed?

What sort of analog signals, frequency, amplitude, sine?

You can use the Arduino to control a digital pot.
