About Laser Pointer Trigger at 60Hz

Hi everybody, I'm looking for somebody who can help me with and idea related with laser pointers. Btw, sorry about my english and greetings from Spain.
Well, here it's my idea. I saw in youtube a girl making in a easy way and cheap way to turn on and off, strobe and dim a laser pointer and I'm trying to do something similar but maybe more complicated because involve also a DSLR camera. My project it's based in the idea of record a video at 60fps, if i trigger the laser to be shown only 30 times every second, i'll have a video file that I can split into two videos, one with all the frames showing the laser and the other one totally clean. The reason because I need that is because i can use the laser marks in the image to track the position of the camera and therefore capture the motion and integrate 3D models and CGI.
I'm still recovering info and materials, I know I need something called TTL and maybe a laser diode ( i preffer to recycle laser pointer from the 1€ stores). The TTL is a system who use digital signal instead of analogic, because the analogic signal will dim the intensity of the laser while the digital signal will make the laser turn on and off in a sharper way.
I be inspired by this video:

and this project: A simple TTL modulated diode laser
but i'm a noob more related with the cameras than with the lasers, so i need some gidance. I'm also new with arduino, this project it's the excuse to buy me one, Im thinking to buy an Arduino One, because this project is quite simple and my budget it's small. I'll apreciate any links, answers, tips, forums... and if you want to collaborate more deeply my mail is sr.generoso --at-- gmail.com
The whole project is focused in make learning videos related with safety driving using 3D animations integrated in the image using mocap technology. I'll use DSLR cameras for the recording, laser to create the markers in the surface, boujour to tracking the marks and 3d studio to import the motion capture and design the animations.

I don't know what else include, if I get some responses i'll create a diy tutorial with my advances.

thanks in advance
