AC Dimmer Module

Hello, I have an AC Dimmer Module and unsure of the safe way to make the AC connections in the ports for using with the ELEGOO Mega R3.

Part: PWM AC Programmable Light Dimmer 110V - 220V BTA16-600B.

Please let me know if I'm wrong:

IN: AC Positive or hot wire.
N: AC negative and to lightbulb.
OUT: To lightbulb.

Thank you for any assistance. I just want to make sure to not create a short in the connections.

Read the data sheet simple.

The data sheet shows a ton of info on what appears to be some sort of regulator or mosfet.

So it was confusing how to apply it to the module.

But thank you for verifying.

Do you understand about Hot and Neutral?
Are you using this with a dimmable LED bulb?

It is a dimmable lightbulb I confirmed on the packaging.

I usually see hot as red or the positive and black as neutral or negative similar to DC. But I know it's alternating in this case.

Neutral is the return path for the ground.

In the US, Neutral is White and Line (hot) is Black and Ground is Green
The color codes are different for different countries.
Just google color code for AC mains for you country

Interesting, I'm not sure why I believe red is the hot wire. Thank you for making it clear.
