If you are in Turkey and there are no official standards at the moment, rest assured that they will come. I presume Turkey is more likely to adopt EU standards rather than US standards. I'm afraid I have no idea which of the major EU Member States Turkey is most closely allied to. If you are serious about making a substantial commercial product it would be worth speaking to experts. I suspect Turkey (like most other countries) has a Government development agency that helps small businesses.
