Access to COM Port is denied - Windows 10

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use my Arduino UNO on my Windows 10, but unfortunately I get an "Access to COM Port is denied" error... I already tried to change my COM Port number (only my Arduino is using a COM Port), but nothing changes. I am using the latest Arduino IDE 1.6.7. On Windows 7 there was no such error...

I therefore would be very grateful, if I could get any help.

All the best - Happy new year!

The Problem is solved:

My GLCD was wrong wired... pretty suprising, that this can cause an "Access to COM Port is denied" - alert...

Please make sure: - that nothing is connected to pin-0 and pin-1 on your UNO (no GLCD and no other hardware). - that you have selected the UNO board in the Tools menu. - that you have selected the correct COM port (where the UNO is connected) in the Tools menu.
