If you go into Preferences and click on the pencil icon next to your Username

you can change your Username

I'm a regular member but I can't that.
Is it only allowed for moderator accounts?
I wanted to capitalize the letters C and K.
Currently can't even use uppercase letters in recent accounts.
Are you aware that new users have all lowercase names?

The screenshots that I posted were taken using a standard account login, not a moderator account so I am not sure why it does not work for you

@pert can you advise please ?

For some reason it doesn't show it to me.

My arduino forum and arduino account have the same mail address but a different username.

Probably he is in the same situation to me.
I joined this forum in February of this year. Yes, it is reasonably recent.
(The forum wasn't "Discourse" at the time.)
I entered capital letters mixed in my username when I registered, but I got my current name.
And it wasn't allowed to edit.
It's even now.

The username is locked after three days have passed since account creation. You can always edit your Name though.

I created the bbb2 account in May so the 3 days grace are long passed yet I still get the option to change the Username.

To avoid confusion I have not gone through with it yet although it appears that I could

well, can you delete my account ??

It would be better if I suspended it, that way all of your topics and posts will be retained but you won't be able to log in

Please confirm that is what you want to do and when I suspend the account I will add a note explaining why it was done with a link to this topic for future reference

Does that mean I have no way to but extinct everything away and restart over to get the my initials with capital letters?
@UKHeliBob seems to be able to rename accounts that are older than 3 days, but I doesn't seem to be.
