ACIoT build and flash error today Dec 13, 2024

Hi.

Following the steps I have received to connect my Arduino IDE with ACIoT, I have run into a couple of different issues being the most relevant the one that forbids me to compile the sketches pulled from ACIoT to my Arduno IDE.

Compilation error: 'HTTPClient' was not declared in this scope; did you mean 'HttpClient'?

Of course in my sketch I have included #include <HTTPClient.h>, as a global #incliude <HTTPClient.h> (I mean visible for everything)

This sounded me as if the #incliude <HTTPClient.h> directive wasn’t counting so I got the HTTPClient.h full pathname and replaced #incliude <HTTPClient.h> with #include "C:\Users\mx7890\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\esp32\hardware\esp32\3.0.7\libraries\HTTPClient\src\HTTPClient.h".
I also checked ok that HTTPClient class definition was inside the file whose full pathname I have included.
After this change and verifying, the error changed to:

I also found a workaround for this issue. You can upload the sketch directly from a terminal (such as CMD on Windows). Here's how:

• Copy the command shown in the error message into a terminal window.
• Correct the filenames in the command (make sure to include the ".ino" extension).
• Hit Enter, and the sketch will be uploaded directly using esptool.

... With no luck. Not all the needed folders where in my machine at the time I tried this workaround.
