acs712 current sensor how to wire up?

Hi, does anyone have any illustrated examples of how to wire the acs712 Allegro current sensor they could put up? I don´t quite understand the schematic in the datasheet. Do both AC neutral and phase go through it or just one of them?

Hi Richard, and thanks for the reply. Verry helpfull allso in the sense that it gave me a bit more confidence in what i´m doing here. And everything you mentioned is exactly what i thought. Thats wy I even asked for someone to put up some illustrations of this thing wired up. I couldn´t believe that I was stuck in this point. Begause I looked at the schematic in the specsheet and thaught i should wire both ac wires to the board. But I didn´t do so, I wired the neutral just like you said, but got no readings from the analog pin. That did it. I had ask for help.

Got it up and running 100%. Beautimusss.

I had no readings from the analog pin due to a code error in the flash ui side of the project. Just what i needed. Real time values of the whole network.

I´ll be uploading some photos and " illustrations.." :slight_smile: of the whole thing soon (...I hope).
