Adafruit 16-Channel I2C Servo Controller

Actually, you can be the one to design it. It's called kinetic art. Motors are used ina sort of "swarm" mode where a computer (arduino) synchronizes them , resulting in a "wave" like motion that can be hundreds of stepper motors pulleys that raise and lower ornaments or a thousands of servos controlling objects via linkage rods similar to an airplane rudder or horizontal stabilizer or even small pulleys raising and lowering objects suspended by wire or thread.
They could be rotating flowers little bird heads turning or anything. The uC can create wave like motion or synchronization. For example, suppose
you have a thousand little squares , black on one side and white on rhe other that can be flipped over via linkage attached to a servo arm on pivot hinge. The program can create patterns formed by the contrasting colors at varrying speeds that increase and decrease exponentially and then
suddenly all change the same color and then start another pattern sequence. This is the latest fad and takes endless forms. There's literally no end to the variations possible.
