Adafruit feather 32u4 w/RFM69HCW and rtl_433

I have an adafruit 32u4 with the onboard 433mhz RFM69HCW, and I want to send messages to be received by an rtl-sdr / rtl_433 receiver. I can't seem to find a good example on how to configure both.

Looks like rtl_433 supports "radiohead ASK", but I think that the radiohead ASK driver is meant for specific types of transceivers.

Does anyone have a good example of how to do this?

The RadioHead ASK transmitter driver is meant to communicate with a receiver using the RadioHead ASK library to decode the messages. If rtl_433 does that, you are set to go. Consult the rtl_433 ASK docs.

i don’t think that driver is compatible with just any transceiver ? the constructor takes tx, rx and ptt pins while the driver for the module i have is quite different. i don’t think there’s a way to initialize the radiohead ASK driver for it.

I didn't suggest that. I responded to this comment:

If that is correct, do your own research on how to use that capability.

I've been wanting to accomplish the same thing. If you have any success with it, I would be interested to know.
