I have a MEGA and have two ultimate GPSs from Arduino, but am having trouble getting them both to work simultaneously for better precision. Any suggestions? I've looked at the library code but in the compiler, it only recognizes one "GPS" type. I don't want to have to network a Nano just for that function. I am working in small spaces.
You can create multiple instances of the GPS object, either as separate declarations, or as members of an array.
The only caveat is that you need to implement them on different serial ports. With a MEGA 2560 etc, that’s trivial.

What level of precision is needed and what is the application ?
It is for rocketry. I tried the obvious of different class instantiations and it didn't work. I even made a separate modified instance of the library. I gave up and just put it on a nano and communicate with I2C to the mega. Thanks for your suggestions.
