Adaptive grasp and control circuit for Prosthetic

Hi, we have designed a two degree of freedom prosthetic and its mechanical work is completed. I require suggestions on two things

  1. I am looking for a compact controller which can drive two DC brushed motors, have capibilites of PWM, provide current sensing and can deliver current up to 8 A on its output stage.

  2. Any suitable sensors through which we can introduce adaptive grasp in our prosthetic hand

Your valuable suggestions will be appreciated.

You said nothing about voltage or which motors BTW - these are useful information when choosing
motor drivers.
