Hello there, I am looking for an ADC with a 16 bit resolution that can sample at 1000Hz+
on at least 6 input channels. While I've found a few ADCs that fit in those categories, I was
curious if ADCs with output buffers such as fifos exist.
You have a much broader selection available if you can accept other configurations, such as six chips with a single input each. Or two with 4 input channels.
Why would you even need a FIFO or other buffer for such low sampling rates? Even so - what are you going to do with the data? 6 16-bit channels at 1000 Hz is 12 kB of data per second. That's a lot for a regular Arduino with 2 kB RAM.
