Adding a Keypad library to a sketch

I am working with this sketch to build a 10MHz GPS Reference Standard; http://www.scullcom.com/GPS_10MHz_Ref…. this sketch requires a keypad library. I’ve made several attempts to add this library with no success. I get this message: #include <Keypad.h> //dowmload and add this library from http://playground.arduino.cc/uploads/Code/Keypad.zip and Arduino: 1.8.13 (Windows 10), Board: “Arduino Uno”

GPS_Ref_Version6:19:10: fatal error: Keypad.h: No such file or directory

#include <Keypad.h> //dowmload and add this library from http://playground.arduino.cc/uploads/Code/Keypad.zip

compilation terminated.

exit status 1

Keypad.h: No such file or directory

How can I successfully download and add this library to this sketch?

Do this:

  • Sketch > Include Library > Manage Libraries
  • Wait for the update to finish
  • In the "Filter your search..." field, type "keypad"
  • Press Enter.
  • From the list of search results, click on "Keypad by Mark Stanley, Alexander Brevig"
  • Click the "Install" button.
  • Wait for the installation to finish.
  • Click the "Close" button.

Now you can compile your sketch without getting that error.
