Hey guys,
I'm mashing up some scripts trying to get a few buttons and encoders to work through USB and I've mostly got it sorted using a button matrix but I'm trying to add a couple of extra buttons outside of that defined matrix. When I add in the FOR and IF statement to get the buttons to function it somehow breaks the initialisation of my rotary encoders.
Here is the script and this works great, does everything I want it to.
#include <Key.h>
#include <Keypad.h>
//Uncomment this for HALFSTEP encoder operation
//#define HALF_STEP
#include <Keypad.h>

{11,12,13,14,15},

};

*/
unsigned char rotary_process(int _i) {
unsigned char pinstate = (digitalRead(rotaries[_i].pin2) << 1) | digitalRead(rotaries[_i].pin1);

};
if (result == DIR_CW) {
Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 1); delay(50); Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 0);
};
}
}
I then make the following change
void setup() {
Joystick.begin();
rotary_init();
pinMode(6, INPUT_PULLUP);
}
const int pinToButtonMap = 6;
int lastButtonState[4] = {0,0,0,0};
void loop() {
CheckAllEncoders();
CheckAllButtons();
for (int index = 0; index < 4; index++)
{
int currentButtonState = !digitalRead(index + pinToButtonMap);
if (currentButtonState != lastButtonState[index])
{
Joystick.setButton(index, currentButtonState);
lastButtonState[index] = currentButtonState;
}
}
}
}
void CheckAllButtons(void) {
and I get this error message
"exit status 1'rotary_init' was not declared in this scope"
I'm totally lost as to why this breaks it. I'd love someone to help me out here.
Thanks in advance
