Adding sketches to an Examples folder? [SOLVED]

I copied a few sketches into
C:\Users\terry\Dropbox\Electronics\Arduino\SKETCHES\Examples (Arduino)\02.Digital
to join those built in. I'm frequently referring to these sketches from the forum's tutorial category while developing some millis-based code after a long gap. So this would be handy.

But I was unable to access them. Using File > Examples > 02.Digital displays only the built in nine, not my five extras. Naturally I can easily access them with File Explorer, but I'm curious. Are the IDE examples protected from additions?

EDIT: OK, I see my mistake. I must have copied the built-in examples from the 'official' IDE locations. Searching my PC found three possible paths. I assume the last one is the one used by the IDE. I'll shortly try adding my extras there,

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ArduinoLLC.ArduinoIDE_1.8.42.0_x86__mdqgnx93n4wtt\examples\

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ArduinoLLC.ArduinoIDE_1.8.57.0_x86__mdqgnx93n4wtt\examples\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\examples\

EDIT 2: That's the one. Copied extras there and can now access as wanted.
