Advice for ESC's

Hi, I'am new to this community and I would like to ask everyone advice on which ESC I should pick for my quadcopter project.

I was looking at the Red Brick ESC on ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30A-Red-Brick-Brushless-ESC-Speed-Controller-Lipo-Battery-2-3S-RC-Plane-Heli-UK-/330824958284?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4d06b4414c). Is this a good ESC for a possible quadcopter? I saw that people are having some difficulty trying to program the esc using servo libraries, is this going to be an issue?

Any help appreciated.

Try the AfroESC at hobbyking.com. It's important to have documentation on how to program the ESC, or if nothing else at least you get the connectors with it.

Thanks for the answer, you mean this one right ? http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__39708__Afro_ESC_30Amp_Multi_rotor_Motor_Speed_Controller_SimonK_Firmware_.html

By the way, do I need the USB programming tool as well or I could get away without it? Also is where could I find the documentation? Thanks in advance.

Note: A user manual is available under the files tab, these are no ordinary ESCs! Please take the time to read the manual before using them.
