Advice needed - interfacing other LCD controller to Arduino.

Hi! I' new here.
I need some advice from experts here.
I have my Yamaha PSR 640 electronic keyboard, but the lower LCD has failed.
The problem is, the LCD is a custom LCD, with the segmented display, not a standard 7 segment display and not in production anymore.

I'm thinking of interfacing the signal from the LCD controller to Arduino and using Arduino to output the LCD data. Is it possible to do that?

Here's the LCD pinout.

Looks like some sort of LCD display to me.

Please post for us the full technical reference manual for the LCD itself (not the electronic keyboard) and we will see what we can do to help. :grinning:
