Advice on LED Button Box feasibility for noob

I'd like to make a button box for gaming using an arduino UNO or similar with momentary buttons and have the buttons light LEDs that stay on with the first button press, then go off with a second press, then with one other button press, all lights go out(if they are on).

For example:
Press button1 green LED lights and stays lit.
Press button1 green LED goes out.
Press button2 green LED lights and stays lit.
Press button3 green LED lights and stays lit.
Press button4 red LED light up when pressed and all green LEDs go out.

If it is possible can someone point me to a tutorial that could help, cheers.

You could follow this thread, copy that answer and just turn it in. Unless it's a classmate, cause it's exactly the same problem.
