Hi folks,
I'm in the process of building a Segway-like machine.I have found a couple of similar project, and I'm on a good way.
my question is :
a couple of them uses the accelerometer, to steer left/right, while others uses a potentiometer.
what is the advantage of one method versus the other ?
Think about it, then you will have your answer.
Thinking.....
No straight answer coming !
It can be done both way, but I'm just wondering if one way has advantages over the other.
Ok, another clue: if you put a pendulum on a motorbike, does it hang straight down? Does it still hang straight when the bike is leaning in a corner? That's the acceleration you measure with an accelerometer.
