ADXL345 accelerometer power consumption

Hi

I'm trying to build a data logger for monitoring motion and shock. Does anyone know how much power it draws in normal mode (not sleep or low power)?

The datasheet says Sleep mode is not intended for data acquisition, then what is a use case?

Any help will be appreciated.

As you can see from the ADXL datasheet the normal operation current draw is 30uA~140uA depends on working mode. And standby mode current draw is 0.1uA.
