Airpods Connection ESP32 Bluetooth

Hello,

I'm trying to make a bluetooth audio sender using a WEMOS LOLIN32 (ESP32 based device) but I am not able to connect to my Airpods (1st gen). Both devices run under Bluetooth 4.2, but I am not capable of seeing services in my Airpods, not even using an Android smartphone with a scanner app.

I have not found much information online. I guess it's due to the pairing system designed by Apple to connect the Airpods automatically to other Apple devices.

Has anyone any clue how I could establish this connection?
