Alarm Clock with a Music Shield

Hello everyone, I want to set an alarm clock with Arduino, specifically with the Music Shield. I would like to program it so that it sounds for example at 8 in the morning until 8:03.

I have been researching and there is a shield called DFMini Player that you can use to do this.

But I would like to know if it can be done with the Music Shield.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it can. Making sounds between certain times is nothing to do with the type of shield or music player. Any type of sound shield will start and stop when it is instructed to do so. The Arduino must do this, but to be able to do that, it needs to know the time. The easiest way to give the Arduino this capability is to connect a Real Time Clock (RTC) module. The better ones use a ds3231 chip.
