Allow curled brackets around the declaration part before void(Setup)

I would love to be able to put the whole variables declaration part between curled brackets.

The compiler should just ignore these brackets, but that would allow us to collapse that part of code away to get faster to the active code.

Would'nt that be nice to have?

Wouldn't that give you scope issues?

I use the Geany editor for my Arduino programming. It has a side-pane that is an index to all the functions in the program so you can click setup() in that pane to bypass all the definitions and skip directly to the start of the setup() function

Not if the compiler just ignores the curled braces in everything before void setup()

So, change the language?
