Welcome to the forum.

Is this a school/college/university project?
If so what have you been supplied and what have you go available from the educational institution.
They should be able to supply you with the equipment, answers that you require.

I'm assuming you have a servo with a 3pin female connector and your UNO only has female headers.
How does you school connect these projects together?
