alternative to Wi-Fi shield - Ethernet in, Bluetooth out

Hey all,

I’m onto my third project that needs internet connectivity and an suck of v buying Wi-Fi shield.

I’ve been thinking of alternatives and was wondering if this would work;

I have one arduino board with an Ethernet shied and Bluetooth module. Then my other arduino boards around the home cab connect to the Bluetooth.

Before I start trying things though;
1 can an arduino have multiple Bluetooth connections?
2 can you use tcpip through Bluetooth

I think you could make up a bluetooth network but you would be better offusing NRF24s, which have the same performance, possibly better, cost less, and have an already established procedure.
