Altmustech AU-123 USB MIDI with Arduino

In my constant search for getting native USB MIDI from Arduino, I came across this chip:

So, I was wondering, has anyone tried to interface this chip with Arduinos RX/TX pins to get native MIDI coming out of that chip while Arduino does all the other processing?

I use this chip in my MIDI controller project based on Arduino without any problems. It's very convenient to use.

Awesome! Do you connect RX/TX pins directly to it or are there other componentes involved (caps, optocouplers...)?
