Am I reading the specs right?

I'm looking for an adapter to give me 9v and 4a, but almost all the wall warts I see provide less than 1a, so will this one (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GQVUKX4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3PV9BYEEVWRE3&coliid=I3R62GF3CXPR85) really give me 9v 4a outright, or are there restrictions/conditions for that 4a that I'm not understanding correctly? Thanks.

From the blurry picture, I'd say only 1200mA. Well short of 4A.

Nope. That is a "replacement" supply for the Belkin F5D7234-4A Router. The 4A is part of the part number for the router, not the amount of current that the power supply produces which won't be close to 4 amps, more like less than one amp.

Ah, I see. Thank you. In that case would this work for me then (9v 4a): http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A71HVQI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3PV9BYEEVWRE3&coliid=IR6ASEA14TULX

Can't tell if that is 9V DC output, or 9V AC output. Which do you need?

I need DC. You mean just saying "AC adapter" does not necessarily mean it's for converting AC to DC?

I would only take it to mean it's input is AC. Have to read the description to see what the output is.

Thanks. I'll see if I can ask the amazon seller directly. If it turns out I can't use it, maybe I'll follow your other suggestion and use 3 or 4 wall warts for this.
