Am unable to connect my Arduino Nano

Hello, I have an Arduino Nano that I just purchased with a "FTDI 1951-C", "Atmel 328P" and my OS is Windows 10. I have tried to update the FTDI drivers, but am unable to, here is the response I am getting "Windows found drivers for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install them." USB serial convertor.
"The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering".

I have uninstalled Arduino IDE and reinstalled it but am getting the same message. I have looked online and have found no answers. Hoping there is someone who can help out.
Thank you.
Eric

www.ftdichip.com does not have a good driver?

Try deleting and reinstalling drivers

Hello, well after 6 attempts to update and also reinstalling the drivers, Arduino IDE finally saw my Nano. Windows however does not recognize my Nano, but it does work as I have uploaded a code to my Nano. Now if I can just get my self leveling platform to work the way I feel it should then all will be good. Having to learn about PID control.
Thank you for the help
Eric

If Windows does not recognise it, you can't upload, period.

A Nano does not identify itself as a Nano but as a serial port. Only Arduinos with a e.g. 8U2/16U2 will identify themselves as an Arduino xyz.
