Just like everything, I should have known that there was a lot more to this than simply turning the radio on and tuning in.I don't really know which frequencies.
Research discone antenna then.
They can have very broadband frequency response and can be built fairly cheaply if you havemnechanical skills.
This one is cheap to build .
