I am using the software Ambibox with Adalight on my arduino to simulate the Philips Ambilight.
Is there someone using Ambibox here?
If yes,it is pretty awesome and it works great but I have some problems with soft colors.
If the monitor is showing hard colors like red, green, blu, purple ecc I have no problem.
If the monitor is showing soft colors like soft red, soft blu, soft purple, soft yellov, the color shown by my led strip (WS8212B) is really near to white.
It seems that my WS8212B strip isn't able to show soft colors and this is a big problem for ambilight.
How can I solve this problem? Can I solve it by forcing ambibox to show red instead of soft red?
Can I buy a better led strip than WS8212B that is able to reproduce soft colors?
