Ambient lighting issue (Please Help)

Hello All-

I would greatly appreciate some help. I apologize for the long post, just want to explain everything. I have a 30 channel ambient lighting setup with Arduino Uno Rev3 connected to two tlc5940 on a breadboard as per instructable http://www.instructables.com/id/30-channel-LED-RGB-Ambilight-Clone/ I am using 10 led strips connected to the tlc's. I am using hardware setup based on http://code.google.com/p/tlc5940arduino/

However, I keep getting error message when opening boblight "Wrong channel value 3 for device uCon on light left_upper"

I swapped led colors, strips, and even tried another breadboard. But same message. When I upload the amblight.pde to arduino, the led strips do react, however, can't get it to work. Also when I run boblight-getpixel, it always times out.

Can someone Please please guide me on how to get this working.... I am running Windows 7 64 bit pc

My boblight config file is as follow: [global]

interface 127.0.0.1

[device]

name uCon

output "COM7 "channels 30

etc. etc.

However, I keep getting error message when opening boblight "Wrong channel value 3 for device uCon on light left_upper"

What is boblight? Where is the error message given? What code are you trying to run?

It is not at all likely that you get an error message if you have the wiring wrong, it is normally purely software mistakes that give software errors.
