Hello All,

very new to Arduino,,so showing my stupidity Are there any libraries in the Arduino IDE for the latest Ameba-ZII boards such as Ameba-Z2 dev boards?As I understand there are 4 variants of these?
Can someone kindly point me in the right direction to get started with this?

Thank You

This is the Ameba boards platform for Arduino that I'm aware of:

I didn't look to see if that supports the specific boards you're asking about.

The package index for it says:

          "boards": [
            {"name": "Ameba RTL8195A"},
            {"name": "Ameba RTL8710"},
            {"name": "Ameba RTL8711AM"}

Hi Pert,

Thank You kindly for feedback. From my readings the latest Ameba-Z2 is an entire new platform. These are capable of dual band wifi for example. Am guessing the libraries you linked are outdated for this generation board config? RTL8720DN
Let me ask this. Are there any other current modules that support dual band wifi? I have to have wifi 5.8ghz for a repeater project . These latest Ameba -z2 modules are only ones i have found. Am brand new to this stuff,,though

Thanks again.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this subject. I only remembered seeing the name "Ameba" on the list of 3rd party boards platforms:

Hopefully someone else here on the forum will be able to provide you with a better answer.
