Analog ports question

Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but I was reviewing the page for the Duemilanove and noticed that some of the analog pins had what was called "special functionality" to I2C (pins 4 and 5). Does this mean they are not standard I/O pins and can only perform those specific functions? I was hoping to use all 6 ports as analog inputs for sensors.

I know it sounds like a silly question, but I googled around before posting and could not find a satisfactory answer. Thank you.

you can still use them as analog pins just fine. you just cant use other pins for I2c (well...with some work yes but thats not the point)

Those two pins can be used as analog input pins, I2C pins, digital input, or digital output pins, just not at the same time.
