I still dont get why I shouldnt use Voltage regulators.... are they supposed to reduce any voltage to 5volts or they are not reliable???
OK you are asking questions and we are answering you. You should not use voltage regulators for signals because they are not designed for that job. In that roll they are not stable, or fast enough, too expensive and simply not suitable.
It is like saying you want a paperweight to keep documents on your desk and are wondering if to use an iPhone or an Android phone to do it. It is that level of a question.
