Hi this is my first post here :slight_smile:
I'm programing board game in python and won't to connect it to xy table so we can play against friends in other countries.

Every figure has different stats and it will have NFC which will provide game info which character you want to use and here is my question:

What can I do or how can I detect that i placed this figure in this chess like board? Later the game will move them with electromagnet so it'd only needed at the beginning of game. What kind of detector i can use to say that this figure is in 2b and not in 2a?
