i would like to build a circuit for my track motorcycle. The goal is displaying angles (in degrees) when cornering on a two digit 7 segment display using a Nano board.
I'm looking for a cheap gyro for measuring the angle. Any suggestion?
Hi,
The problem is you want an angle of the chassis with respect to gravity vertical.
The gyro tilt will be reacting to not only gravity but any side or lateral forces due to cornering.
Not sure how you would compensate for the lateral forces.
eBay has gyro that are cheap.
You can check if it is suitable for arduino by simply googling arduino and the gyro part number.
