I recently bought a BRACCIO ++, the adapter worked for ten minutes or so, and then stopped working, as the TFT display keep showing "Please connect power". I tried to power it through my laptop after the adapter stopped working, but it still indicate "Please connect power". Also tried my iwatch adapter, still couldn't power the kit. Considering Arduino is not selling the specific adapter separately, is there any other way that I could power the six servo motors of the BRACCIO ++ set?
Printed on the adapter:
Input: 100-240v, 50/60Hz, 1.5A Max
Output C1: 5v-3A, 9V-3A, 12V-3A, 15V-3A, 20V-3.25A
Thanks for pointing that out, I thought the first link is the servo datasheet, had another look after your reply and realized that's not the case. There are 4 SR-418D servo and 2 SR 312 servo, I don't know how to find datesheet for the servos. However, in the lessons from the Cloud I can find the following information (requires buyer log in details so I will paste them here):
Can You post schematics of Your build?
Those servos need 2 * 2.1 Amp at one voltage and the small servos 2 * 0.6 Amp at another voltage. How do You handle that?
I am quite new and don't understand what is the schematics of my build. It is a stantard educational set and I just build it according to the instructions. It came with a power adapter (please see pictures). However, I used it once and then I believe the adapter stopped working, as the TFT display keep showing "Please connect power" while it was connected with power.
Thanks for the links, now I know you were asking me to draw a schematic or circuit diagram. But I know the circuit is correct (as in the photo), as I followed instructions and it worked the first time, the robot arm moved as intended, it's just after the first use, I saw a spark coming out of the plug/adapter and I couldn't power the circuit anymore.
Not quite sure how to draw schematics, but the build can be simplified like this, six motors and two cables (no other electrical parts). Blue/white cable is data cable connecting the computer, black/white cable is power cable, supplied in the kit with a UK adapter:
