Any difference in Arduino IDE 1.6.8 and Intel Arduino IDE 1.6.0?

I saw the arduino ide 1.6.8 here and one on the intel website named Intel arduino IDE 1.6
is there a difference between the 2?

I am using Arduino 101.

Here is the link for the Intel site -

That looks like it's the Arduino IDE 1.6.0 with the Intel i586(Galileo) and i686(Edison) packages installed. So it's an outdated IDE version, it supports boards that you don't own, it doesn't even support the Arduino 101, and will make it more difficult to update either the Arduino IDE or the included hardware packages.

You should just download a recent version of the Arduino IDE from and then do Tools > Board > Boards Manager > Intel Curie Boards > Install to add support for the Arduino 101.

Thank you very much.
