I'm a novice at python programming, although I would like to learn some arduino. Dont know if this is the right place, but does anyone have any good books to recommend on arduino version 1.0 .....

'Getting Started With Arduino' is a great one for beginning. I have 'Making Things Talk' which is also really cool with lots of neat projects.
There are plenty of online tutorials as well.
