Dear all, I have very basic knowledge of IR sensors...
Do you recommend any IR sensor which will be interfaced with arduino in order to control a stepper motor due to freq given (tv remote if possible)...?

You can look around for IR receivers. (IR 'sensors' are used for determining distance, the receiver is for receiving signals).
Here is a sparkfun reciever that I have used. SparkFun IR Receiver Breakout - TSOP85 - SEN-08554 - SparkFun Electronics
You may find a cheaper one if you look around, I haven't gone looking for one in a while.
