Hi,
As the old timers will know I write rcarduino.blogspot.com, its quite popular with around 1,000 visits per day.
Whereever possible I have put the tutorial code directly in the blog posts, this is a bit ugly but better than nothing.
In other cases the projects involve more files or a directory structure that is not practical to put directly into a blog post.
Is there any way to add the projects to Arduino forum or arduino.cc as downloadable zip files, or would any of the established users (mods ?) be willing to host the code for me so that I can add links in the posts and not have to ask people to contact me through Arduino forum and wait for me to get around to sending them the code ?
Hi Duane
I'm quite willing to let you use my server to store data. But if it is about open source code why not use github?
That gives you version control and not hassle with third parties for free (github is free for open source projects)
There are quite a lot of Arduino libraries on Github The Arduino code is on github so is my arduino eclipse plugin (and the lib I made from your rc code ).
mine is at one.com which starts at 1.25 euro a month for 5Gig (cheaper than startlogic). I recently upgraded to 30GB for 2.60euro/month to host the nightly builds. before that I don't think I ever hit 3Gig so there is room.
Best regards
Jantje
I'm definitely not logged into Google and using Firefox 27 I get the below page. After other reported it worked I tried again and I can view/download individual files and if I select the non to obvious File menu I can download the zip.
Now it works, I see all the files. Go figure. I did log into Google during the day, that might have been it because I haven't done so for weeks. Even after loging out I can still see the files but maybe that's because I haven't shut down yet.
