I'm wondering, before i go off and spend $200 bucks on this or any other compiler... I'm wondering if this is compatible
with the ATMEGA 328p.. I'm really a newbie when it comes to the hardware side of the IC AVRdude? is what Arduino's IDE
uses? and Arduino calls AVRdude?..

There's a free trial. Why not just give it a go. Sadly, it appears to be Windows only, so it's no good to me.
I must be blind or lazy or both, or partially both lol
