any sensors to measure water level, watt-hour

First of all, I am totally new to Arduino, my first post. What I've read so far looks very cool.

I need to monitor water level in a remote location and estimate battery life. I need your advice on commercially available water level sensors and watt-hour meters that I could connect to Arduino. Thanks

Glen

The last topic on water level sensing ended just two minutes ago. You have to define size and the material of water tank, can you put sensor in the water or not, is it distilled water or not, do you want an estimate of the volume of water or just when it reaches critical levels (high and low). There seem to be a lot of options available.
(To the bright guys - I did not read so far about a [capacitive] sensor, that allows for non contact sensing of fluid level in a metal or plastic reservoir)
