There is a chance I need to order some PCBs but it's very soon going to be Chinese Spring Festival. The fab houses are on break until a week into February. Anyway, any USA fab houses that do reasonable pricing on 10-50 pcs 10cm*10cm boards? Thanks.
It could be a few times more expensive but can't be $25 each. I'm looking for less than $10 a piece and about a week of lead time and accepting Gerber files. Any pointers?
So maybe not so easy to find?! I'll use OSH Park then. Just read about sparkfun has sold its Batch PCB to OSH Park last year. When I last used the predecessor of OSH Park, only one person was managing the orders as a maker community thing.
Funny enough, I need 12 boards at 11.2 square inch each. So if I order them with the basic service, it's going to cost me $224. If I instead make it beyond 150 square inches for the cheaper service, I have to order multiples of 10, then my cost is still $224 but I get 20 boards (only really need 12 but nice to have backups). This seems cool coincidence!
FYI, the verdict:
Fab service: OSH Park
Board: 4"*2.8" = 11.2 square inches
Pcs: 20 (only needed 12)
Cost: $224 (of course)
Cost per board: $11.2 (closer to my $10 target than I expected)
Features: they do lead-free and gold finish. Also allows internal cutout (Don't remember if seeedstudio has allowed it these days or not).
Leadtime (<12 calendar days)
