I have an led sign that was made by pollard manufacturing and is a 7x16 dot matrix. I would like to
Run it with an arduino and use the 5821 led drivers and tip107 row transistors
The dots are led clusters of three and run on 9v for a cluster any help with code to drive them and display text would be appreciated
the chips are 26ls36 quadruple line reciever, 74ls157multiplexer, and 5821 led driver

Have you tried to contact - pollard manufacturing ?

the company doesnt exist any more the sign was made in 1992 and i picked it up from a surplus store

Is there a serie nr or model nr on it? Otherwise I think you have to reverse engineer it wire by wire chip by chip :slight_smile:

There isn't any number exept for the revision number I guess I am re wiring then
