I often use proxies (even though their effectiveness is disputed). I would presume that only the admins would have that info, to be honest. It means that some IP addresses are seemingly similar, or exactly the same! But unless you are admin, I doubt people can "sniff" them.
And by the way, disregard any hostility I may have had for you as a person. I did indeed get suspended, I think due to an individual comment that was out of line, and out of topic, to an individual. It was silly of me, and I was the one being "childish"!
