anyone have luck with these DS3231 modules?

I like that these are so small, and of course they can be had even cheaper from Ali-express.

But what am I missing out on compared to the bigger boards with multiple chips some of you have been using, like these...

If its just extras like eeprom memory or frequency outputs brought out to pins, the smaller ones would be better for a lot of projects. But if its something more important (like no I2C support), well... thats why I'm asking! :slight_smile:

I thought they were the same, but no pin duplication and a smaller battery.
