I have used these over the years, however, the dimensions do not allow for side by side mounting at 1/10th spacing.
There are 'slide' DIP switches available, has any one seen a DIP 'pushed button' version?

You want pushbuttons that are 2.5 mm wide?
These look pretty neat for some projects, BUT--they are .2 wide and smt--BUT they light up on/off.
Are you looking for breadboard switches, or just that you want that .1 footprint to make an array of them on a circuitboard in a small space?
I suppose it would be of more use to link what I was talking about
You could get a .2 spacing, but handling the traces could be interesting

Once in a modem , a long time ago, used for setup i think.
Strongly suspect they were custom though.
Modems were not commercially available , only used in house.
EDIT
Thinking about it i am not at all sure they were 0.1 spacing though.
Not sure what you use to push the button, but here's one that's 3mm x 2mm.
I think i have seen similar in 1.2 mm spacing somewhere , can you say what you are trying to do ?

Yes
I am trying to re-engineer a PCB that currently uses an 8 slide DIP witch.
Currently, you flip one of the 8 slide switches off to on then back to off to start a process.
What I would like to do is just push one of 8 switches then release.
The switches come in a 16-pin package (dip switch i.e.)
Spacing same as a 16 pin I.C. 0.3"wide, 0.7"long
I might have to make a daughter card and use the switches shown in my opening post.
